As luck would have it, I *also* took delivery of a Lakland hollowbody today. I tested it in my Roadrunner gig bag with and without the extra bottom pad and either works. Maybe a bit too snug with the bottom pad.

Speaking of the JO necks, I have a 2001 and it is hands-down the best neck I've ever played. Does anyone know if that same neck shape is used on any of Lakland's p-basses? I'm thinking maybe a skyline 44-64 custom or the Duck Dunn model since they have a 1.5" nut, but I'm not sure how similar...

Pretty good price, you'd likely pay a bit over $1000 for a 55-02. I'd ask about the weight, I know some can be heavy. My 44-02 is 8.5 pounds FWIW

That's fantastic - I saw the ad on FB as well and the thought crossed my mind. Perhaps someday I'll ante up for a B-15. For the time being I'm happy with my Oliver B120 and Broughton Fliptop. Glad to know it went to a good home!

Anyone know what a flat EQ would look like for this amp? If this EQ is more like what Fender used compared to a James circuit, would flat be the bass and treble turned off and the mids all the way up? This amp has knobs for bass/mid/treble/ultra low/ultra high.

Same. And yet, still glad I got it taken care of. I've never been much of an effects guy but between ordering a Fliptop, picking up a compressor last year, and my likely acquisition of a long-needed pedal tuner I should probably start looking into getting a small board.
