TI Flats. That's the only mod i've made to my Q6 (emgs) and my Q5 (barts). They both sound amazing, with the barts coming in a tiny bit 'woodier' to my ears.

Thanks for the link!!! My understanding is that the two amps can run separate with a balance between hi/low and the crossover setting the cutoff where the highs and lows get separated between the two cabs. I can probably get away with the 4x10 by itself, but i'm not getting the lows I want...

I've got TI's on two of my moduluses (moduli?), a Q6 and Q5. would never go back to rounds...played with the same set on my Tobias basic 6 for somewhere around 10 years before changing them out. They just get better as they age. And bonus...fret wear is almost nil. :) Oh, and I too play...

While I haven't played the Newark St Korean SF, the GSR is amazing. I think the problem is that there is a VERY limited number of folks who would plunk down $3k+ on a reissue bass. Heck, I wouldn't have done it, but a friendly supporter had a bit of money to burn and gifted me with one...

I assume you've seen Phil's (and Mike's [damn copycat]) new meyer rig? Heck, even an alembic SF-1 preamp can do most if not all of what those knobs were for....knobs are great, but it's probably better to have them outboard...even Phil said he never used all the knobs that much (see his book)...
