It really depends on the sound you're looking for, I alternate from pick to fingers to slap.. it really doesn't matter. Nikki sixx uses a pick who gives.. but if you are starting out I suggest you start playing with your fingers just to get a feel for it and see how it goes. As it stands music...

The best way I got to terms with this was to just say, use it as a way to rest your hand on the the pickup or strings. Good ****.

Its def my pickups my aswell just buy new ones

My pickups are starting to make a fuzing noise and a loud pinch when I slap I've look at the pickups and they seem fine any ideas on what's wrong? Ps. Any suggestions on cheap pickups leave a msg :D
