type 3 on neck. type 1 on bridge.

I'm using NJ5FS (split coil) pu for neck to get beefy "P Bass" and put AERO type 1 (single coil) pu at bridge for "Jacoish tone" then ACG EQ2 active preamp :smug:. I stay at this setup on my Fender Deluxe V 2008 it's because of soo wide variety of tone. ps : I'd try passive VVTT on Fender...

HW-1 = Lower quality hardware (tuner, bridge, electronic, pu's) than American Standard

Hi Skelf, I just bought ACG EQ 2 Dlx plate type and had set it into my Fender J American Dlx (with single coil), and yes it's awesome preamp. My question is about possibilities adding mini switch for Series/Pararel between neck and bridge pu ? I'd like to put mini switch on control plate but...

Woww nice :eek:can you give a close photo to upper screw on neck pu cover ? Do you make a new hole on pickguard or you just put screw into existing pickguard hole ?

No wrong with that. I just remember somebody says to me "It's only your body but ain't your soul, keep rockin'". And me keep doin' bass thing. Really nothin' wrong with that.
