Update: I have fallen on love with this amp. The tone is better than my orange 200 AD. The fan noise seems to have calmed down or I simply dont notice it anymore. its a keeper and a great head. Simple and effective with outstanding tone. I am running two 4ohm ampegs. Very nice!! A bit of time...

LOL. Never vibed with Mesa. Seems ampeg better or just as good at a more reasonable point. I think people who love mesa do so to justify and defend their massive expense. I love the guitar dual rectifiers but for bass not “felt” the color myself.

Of course but the tone is a one trick pony and lack of headroom obv from the get go.
