I thinking of using a Carvin B1500 (1250 watts @ 4 ohms) to power a Carvin 10.2 cab (2 10's neo 600 watt @ 4 ohms), for low volume jazz gigs. Could this do damage to my cab? I didn't find an answer checking older threads. Thanks for opinions.

I'm interested in a Dr Bass 310 cab. It's $90 more to get it with Neo's. Besides the weight difference, does anyone know the sound difference between Neo and regular?

Has anyone any info on the difference of these two cabs? Dr Bass says their 310 has the output of a 410. I think the extra 10 in a 410 should be a noticable increase in volume and clarity. Thanks for any thoughts.

GHS Pressure wounds are worth trying. I've been using them on my fretlesses for years. Sound great and no wear.

Thanks for the info. JimmyM, I set at flat with my sub bass and bass knobs set at 1:00. It's a good sound up to about volume 4. If I go to 5 it starts to get alittle dirty. If I use my drive knob for more power, it gets even dirtier. This is a loud band but I still like a nice clean Fender...
