As someone posted, we use a beat buddy when the drummer calls off. Sometimes it's better this way as the beat buddy is really a glorified metronome. You can't fire the drummer if he's not there...

Thanks @PillO ! I now have the SB200H so the tubes in my YBA100 will wear less! The fan is really silent compared to the TE Elf

I prefer the stiffer because the action can be lower, and I like the 9050m tone. I used the Daddario before with the .100 E and I found it too floppy for me.
