Can someone give me tips or ideas on where solos are played I'm into fusion and working on writing in that style I don't have formal training in composing or arranging.
The music of rush is tasteful and authentic it isn't just thrown together music ,it's complex creative music at the top of prog rock I'm not into the vocal part but I'm a bassist not a vocalist, but both parts work well ...that says it all.
The music of rush is tasteful and authentic and ain't just thrown together it's creative music at the top of prog rock I'm not into the vocal part but that's because I play bass and ain't a Singer. ..that says it all.
What can I do to feel when to change to next part I'm trying to develop as a composer is that something you can learn, or is it just felt, I don't always have a clear idea of where I want to go but have theory down.
Can someone tell me where a solo may occur in fusion is it same as in other forms of jazz and what types of progressions are common, I know that it's modal in approach .
I wasn't telling anyone what they should or shouldn't in learning theory saying same as others, got it:cool. Posters got involved in past questions I had they were rude in their replys so there.
