Has anyone here tried running a 410 cab extended from a 200 combo?

Is it sufficient to use an ABY to split the signal and completely roll off the low end on the guitar combo or zero out the low end with a graphic eq? (Disregarding any phase or ground loop issues of course.) I am having trouble finding a high pass filter in pedal form.

I was thinking either running through XLR out to a guitar combo and rolling the lows back OR running a crossover after a volume pedal and sending the lows to my new 200 combo and the highs to the aforementioned guitar combo.... if either would be a good idea.

I apologize for my ignorance before asking: can the XLR line out on a rumble combo feed another combo amp? I came across an XLR to mono cable, and want a consensus before ruining anything. Also, has anyone used a Rolls SX21 crossover to split the signal between two amps? I'm sure you get...

Since you said the 100 is less than ideal, what about a 200 vs the 40 you got for a guitar? Would you buy a 40 again over the 200?

Should any precaution be taken not to damage the tweeter when playing a guitar through the 200? I am obviously not familiar with this aspect of any amps. :-P
