So had my first practical experience with it this week. Basically, jam night got moved, and then delayed and them moved again to my place (life). Normally we monitor through a mixer/computer interface and I sold my amp to buy pedals. So not having any other way to play and monitor I plugged into...

Just a little bit of time to play last night. I really like what it does for the sound. Definitely makes it sound more natural. I ran it as a headphone amp with none of my other pedals in front of it. Only ran an active bass into it but I'd like to run a passive to see how it sounds. Definitely...

It arrived today! :bassist: About 2.5 weeks to my door. Not sure when I'll have a chance to play with it. Will try to squeeze it in tonight. Hopefully I won't have to wait until the weekend...

Waiting is so hard :hyper::bored: :crying: It's only been 2.5 weeks since it shipped. How long to Canada normally?

Just caught up on the full thread. Amazing to see the progression from the first non-deluxe model, through development of the deluxe version, Daniel's struggles to move units, and then to see it explode in the last year. Another common response from owners was the few with an initial tepid...

Would appreciate if you could share whether you have any tax due when picked up. Mine has left Chile and shows as a valid number on the Canada Post website now. Possibly one of my favourite translations from Google Translate: ENVIO DESPACHADO AL PAIS DE DESTINO = SHIPMENT DISPATCHED TO THE...

Had it in my Reverb cart for a month or so. Figured the Pre-order window must be closing soon so finalized this morning. Any other order one of these? Looks like Canada has a FTA with Chile but I assume I can expect at least GST/PST/HST. This was the first speaker sim pedal that caught my eye...

If you are happy with the level of the current coat, no harm in stepping up to 400x paper again. Make sure you change the paper frequently. It will cut smoother and faster. For the small nick, you can try drop filling with CA glue once you are into the clear coats. Assuming of course it is...

    There's another storm brewing!

I am picturing your parcel stuck up in some sort of nook or cranny in the USPS sorting room with the magnets holding it just out of line of sight. That's how I prefer to see it but still a bummer. OK, back to following along quietly.

I don't, but Hipshot may have specs posted or a dimensioned drawing on their website.

Yup, pros and cons to each glue. The benefit to epoxy is that if the joint fails the epoxy can be reglued to itself without fully cleaning the existing glue from the joint (which is good for furniture restoration work). Then again, if this joint fails, it's probably due to using the wrong glue...
