Mine eventually has a transformer(2600A) fried. My tech reached EBS via e-mail and told him that they would have the component ready for shipping in 2-3 weeks. Then a reply was received: "Unfortunately the original transformers are of very low quality. We have now finally been able to find one...

Here's an update. The technician told me that the EQ was destroyed. Mostly because of an amateur who tried to fix that for the previous owner. I didn't get my hands on it yet. More news and confirmation of the repair coming soon.

So, I got my T-40 2 months ago and set it up in C standard using D'Addario EXL-160ΒΤ. Recently I noticed that there is a "volume drop"(i dont know how to explain) on C string from the 3rd to 6th fret. Should I get a 5-string set? Would it fix this problem?

But is that loud, warm and sounds enormous? :-P

I recently tried a EBS VALVE DRIVE on my Fender Bassman 100('76) and it was stunning. The downside is its price. So I was looking the English Muff'n. I'm going to match the overdrive with my BAT Pharaoh so if you have any experience with overdrive pedals please help!

So i took the risk and bought the Bassman. I also played through a GK 700RB on a 410 GK cab. It was pretty damn loud but I didn't like it comparing to the tone of Bassman. so i found an old 1976 Fender Bassman 100w for 400euros. it is fully operating, newly recapped and with a brand new transformer. should i go for it? :D

It was my first thought but I live in Greece and the shipping costs plus the import charges are like paying for a second amp. :(
