I had the four string set on my old Yamaha BB413. I agree with everything Nightvision said. I used it finger style, the tone was amazing, cut through the mix great.

MTD 535. Walnut body, maple fingerboard.

One of my favorite bassplayers, the tone he got on the "Fight For Your Mind" album is what I've been after for years, it's incredible. It made me decide to buy an MTD. Love how tasteful he is as well. The bass lines he comes up with are killer.

Hey guys, anybody out there tried to fit a bass into this type of car? It looks like it would be a tight fit... but the trunk is large for a compact and the rear seats do fold down. Or maybe angled through the back door, I dunno. It's an 2008.

Guys, one more question. In the instruction manual for the 550 it says to turn the gain knob clockwise until the set level light goes on, and then back it off two notches. There are two leds above the set level text on the amp. One right above, and the other about an inch higher. I tried...

I just picked up one the other day. Really nice smooth lows, had a bit of hard time finding good definition for the highs but I'm sure that'll come with playing around. One thing I did notice as well was the fan was REALLY loud, is this common?
