    The Official MARUSZCZYK CLUB!

Coincidentally, I read your post. You can get very close. You should read my review of the Frog I own. I also own a 6 string now that has the ray specs. I'll shoot a photo... They both sound better than the '08 4H I have.

    The Official MARUSZCZYK CLUB!

I orderded a Frog 6 end of February, but I had some specific wishes requiring non-standard parts. I expect the bass to be done any time now, given the final part arrived at the workshop last week. You can expect a review and a comparison with a Frog 5 headless once I receive it. The Frog 5...

Most Elegant Bass That You've Seen?

@bholder @two fingers I own the Turquoise Frog (thanks for the compliment). Though I admire the bass I am not in love with the balance when standing. There's a review of the bass on the forum. Expect a review in which I compare the balance of headstock vs. headless once my second Frog arrives...

Boss LS2: help orden my new pedalboard

Hi TB, Since receiving the LS2 I have become a convert of using loops on my pedalboard. However, I can't decide on how to orden my new set up. This is what I own (also pictured): Tuner EBS Multicomp (compressor) Boss LS2 (line splitter/mixer) Aguilar Octamizer (octaver) Digitech Polara (delay)...

Review: Maruszczyk Frog Omega 5. Häeussel and Delano content. Stingray sweet spot. Now /w soundclips

Update after owning the bass for more than a year: The bass balances perfectly on my lap. Standing up however, the "butt dive" for lack of a better definition tires after a couple of hours. Once I order another bass I would probably get a head with tuners for better standing stability. Also...

If I ever lose my head...

Ok In all fairness though, if I did it again I would most likely take a "headed" bass. Why? This one has a little bit too much butt dive to my taste. On one hand it promotes better form, though I would like the added stability for standing playing. I still enjoy the bass very thoroughly though.

According to my bathroom scale, about 5,2 kg. I would say it's pretty average, but definitely not light.

Are Greenboy/Barefaced too clean? What do I even get????

Just to note: I just ordered a F112 with Guy from Tricky Audio. I don't think someone ever replied to my mails in such quick fashion, during the weekend even. It's a bit of a gamble, but the three-way design, tilt-option and some of your opinions swayed me. I'll post a picture when it's in.

Are Greenboy/Barefaced too clean? What do I even get????

Thanks everyone. I considered this option, but decided the speaker was inherently not up to snuff. I might consider a 212 depending on what I will get in to and how many funds I have. Thanks for providing a real life example. This sounds promising. Sorry, I don't quite understand your...

Are Greenboy/Barefaced too clean? What do I even get????

I have been considering both brands, particularly a single F112 or Big Baby 2, but am now at a stalemate. I recently had the opportunity to try a Vanderkley 212 and 112, but was very disappointed by them. It found them very dull sounding through the same brand amplifier that was connected to it...

    Stingray players: advice?

I would like to underline the importance of getting a parallel wired pickup. I have good experiences with a Haeüssel MM. I also liked the Aguilar AG5M. The Aguilar might be a bit cheaper. You have more options with Haeüssel. Good luck!
