Either the CV or the VM. It basically boils down to whether or not you like glossy finished necks/headstock, and the colour options. They're both amazing basses.

I don't really like the look of the b+b on the precision. I saw it and instantly thought 'Jazz'. The Oly white looks the best, though, in my opinion.

There is nowhere as big of a difference as people want to believe. I'm sure the more expensive basses sound better. They definitely have better quality (attention to detail etc), but the sound is not amazingly different. For example, the wood makes no difference to tone, etc.

If I don't hold my Epiphone Thunderbird IV when it's strapped on to me, it just falls down till the neck is pretty much like a '\'. I have a very wide leather strap, too. Incidently, the strap cost as much as the bass.

In my opinion, if you're not completely set on getting a 5 string, don't get a 5 string.

Rip that thing off. I hate it when people leave them on - "It's gonna get scratched!" It's a scratchplate. Kinda the point. Same with mobile phones etc, but this isn't a mobile phone forum :p
