Here come the haters but I don’t care... Not that great honestly. Walking be bop lines simple enough so he could sing at the same time. The skill is singing while playing, but the bass lines on their own are mostly all down beat kind of simple grooves that start at the root of each chord...

When I get time in the next week or so I will download without those vocals and try it again. Our band is going to cover it - May try to get a decent clip of us at practice. I have been pleased by the B3k much more so than the “duality” pedal that I have from them

You use active or passive bass? Most of my basses are active and I can usually dial in the a good portion tone of my instrument tone on about any amp (not all as the tone is the sum of the parts, bass/amp/ effects / cabs ) but I think an active bass helps.

Apparently on this song a Leslie was used - one of the only times another effect was used. I’m sure someone here knows the story on it much better than me

Not sure where my reply went on this. It is a backing track from karaokerversion.com with the bass removed. Hate the vocals on this one but needed something without the original bass part to add mine.

Will have to check it out. Don’t know it. I’ve never been a big Led Zep follower to be honest

Would love to get my hands on one. I personally love the fender dimensions and I think the p and jazz bass purists are just missing out on a great instrument. Hate it was discontinued

If you watch the video the you will read within the video that it was a custom backing track with the bass removed. Sorry it was not stated here that it isn’t the original band but it was explained in the video - there are annotations on the screen. No it is not the original band bc I purchased...

This was a backing track I used from karaoke version.com by using a custom backing track in which the bass part was removed, I could go back and add the bass :)
