as i mentioned earlier in this thread: i have a loud pop when bypassing the SS, but sometimes also a slight pop when switching channels like @cavemanbass mentioned. i havent searched for a pattern, because it is nothing that bothers me in a live situation, as i have the SS in the loop of another...

hi guys, any advice on cleaning fodera gold hardware (bridge / tuners)? i remember from other basses i have owned that it could be a bit tricky (peel off / discolourations) and i dont want to risk to ruin my fodera... cheers

finaly found the time to listen through the neck compare sound samples: i`m for bolt-on all the way :D! guess thats because of my listening habits when it comes to music per se. in my ears it sounds more "open" with a bit more bite in the voice not that "even" than the other 2 but in a good...

the size of the yellow ones seems to be "normal" as you can see on the right flyer... i always wanted the VLE/VFP as a floorpedal, cause i don`t like the markbass amps but i love the sound of the VFP - so if this baby also got a DI it would be just perfect for me

i`d get the fmcs cause they are simply fantastic... i played a few at some shows here in germany. they are very neutrally and natural sounding. you really get much more than you are paying! also you got the opportunity to get them custom builded like you want them... on the other side i don`t...

i agree, when it comes to sound take what you like best, but also consider the size of the amps -> SVT-Stack in a Small jazzcombo = Bad idea :D... for sure there are amps out there, that fit certain styles of music better than other because of the sound colour... Ampeg = Rock, Hardcore, Punk...
