I hear ya bud. A very personal thing. Had a bass player use my rig at a gig lately and he was politely appalled at my setup. He didn’t like the brightness and how his fret noise sounded. He’s not wrong for himself :)

Hi! ggi5 on the way! Thanks PNuts! I’ve been eyeing these up for years, finally struck. Never touched one. Played a Q once for 5 minutes (can’t do 16mm, 17.5 my min). Looking forward to using this with my groove metal band, it may even make some recordings in Dec. Good to join the club!

Beauty! About 1.5 months in on my 5 string. Besides the normal technique stuff I’m sure you already thought about, I found string muting troublesome too. But just be more conscious of it and it solves itself :)
