I use a Squier CV 70s P Bass most of the time and I love that bass! I replaced the pickups with an EMG Geezer Butler, replaced the bridge with a fender high mass bridge and set the strings real low. The bass sounds awesome and also plays like butter.

Gibson SG Standard :drool: I just love how the bass sounds and looks. I have always loved the SG design. The only thing that I don't like is the neck dive.

I would love to see a reissue of the classic Gibson EB-3. Like the one shown in the picture below.

ESP LTD basses are great too! You can find different models for around 300 bucks or even less, and I have to say the ones I have owned were very well made and they play very nicely. Would recommend trying them out! red one: B-204 ( I regret selling it so much ) brown one: B-334

Hello, I raised the bridge and the g string is still buzzing. I personally did not modify the nut in any way. So I replaced the g string with an older TI g string and the buzz disappeared. Looks like the g string from the pyramid set was dead. Or it might be because of the 040 gauge? not sure...

Hi, sorry for replying on an older thread but I've got myself some Pyramid short scale flats 40 - 100 for my SG standard bass and I have noticed that the G string buzzes. Anyone else who had this problem before?
