Flats for a Gibson SG Bass/EB 3

Hi,

sorry for replying on an older thread but I've got myself some Pyramid short scale flats 40 - 100 for my SG standard bass and I have noticed that the G string buzzes. Anyone else who had this problem before?

Hello,

I raised the bridge and the g string is still buzzing. I personally did not modify the nut in any way. So I replaced the g string with an older TI g string and the buzz disappeared. Looks like the g string from the pyramid set was dead. Or it might be because of the 040 gauge? not sure. I'll email them and ask for a replacement.
