I noticed the tip was attached quite loosely before I started using it, but foolishley decided to use it anyway. I think I then pushed it in the jack to hard, so when I pulled the cable out, it detached.

I am a bit concerned about using the super glue idea, in case the cable tip is stuck so tight I can't pull it out, and then I would be left with more than just a cable tip stuck in the jack. I will maybe take some pictures later

Ok, I've looked at it in more detail, and have found that the cable tip is stuck very deep in the jack, all the way in to the end. I can't find any tool that is long and thin enough to grip it. I took the amp apart and found that the jack is enclosed, and I'm not sure how I can access it. Is...

I forgot the brand, but it was the cheapest 20ft 1/4 inch cable I could find in my local music store
