Not sure how many of you are fans, but lastnight the halftime show for the Grey Cup (Canadian Football League Championship) was announced and its BTO. Well I happen to have Grey Cup tickets and get to see Fred Turner! :bassist::hyper:
So I was looking to get an Ibanez SR300 or something a little on the cheaper side... I picked up and tried a different bass in the store...I walked out of the store the proud new owner of an Ibanez BTB670! :bassist::D

1. In for sure!
2. My favorites and Anti-flag and Rise Against
3. I play better with my fingers, but I'm slowly learning to play pick-style because I like the sound better.
Freeman is an amazing bass player, but IMO he has nothing on Chris #2. Chris' bass lines are faster for the most part AND he sings and is into showmanship. No offense to Freeman, but its more entertaining to watch someone who really gets into it.
Hasn't been mention yet (that I've seen atleast) but, one pick bassist I've grown fond of is Marc McKnight from Atreyu. Already said, but my favorite pick player is Chris #2 from Anti-flag.
I totally respect your opinion and will keep that in mind. I don't go up to the big city until next saturday so I still have time to look at others, plus I can browse and ask questions in the store as well. I like your band by the way. Pretty good.
I'm looking for a pretty sturdy bass that I can play fairly hard and fast since I play punk and metal. I have browsed the classifieds and I've decided I want a brand new one. It isn't a waste of money because this is money I have saved and set aside just for this.
I'm looking at upgrading to a new bass. I'm a big fan of Ibanez and am looking at the Ibanez SRX360. (You can find all the specs at ibanez.com but sadly I can't link you right there.) Just wanted to know if its a good $430 to drop.
