    If they have tiny ribbeltjes on the side, they will go in the wood. It'll fit.

    If you have the same as I do, I drilled 10 Mm holes and then they fit nicely. I don't gleu them in, they will be held in place by the strings ofcause, and if you want to change the colour of your hard ware, say from gold to black, you can just pop in new ones. My 2 euro cents

    Yep...looks good to me... Very nice combo for the neck..... Love the red cedar...looks very nice with the walnut... Great to see another guitar build here on TB, I'm working on a guitar myself, so I will follow you closely.....

    Nut fits loose in fingerboard slot

    I have the same thing going on, with a preslotted fretboard and a brass nut blank, except mine is just under a Mm or something, but I also want a tight fit. I was thinking in the lines of a (few) piece(s) of vineer, then it's made of wood and looks alot better. But I want to see what the pro's...

    When I look at this crack, I think, maybe you can cut it off cleanly at a 14 degree angle or something, just what you wood do when you want to make a scarfjoint, the angle of the crack will do just fine.... and make a new, real scarfjoint, starting at the end of the fretboard,.......with a whole...
