    EBS multi comp clipping distortion?

EBS pedals seem to "go bad" over time, more noticeably than other pedal brands. They are great when new, and the positive comments in my review apply in that case. But over just a few years they can develop issues such as distortion, switches failing, increased noise, or erratic behavior. So I...

    Reverb before/after delay?

Reverb is commonly put after delay, and sometimes in parallel with delay.

    Delay with bass?

What about ECHO 600? Don't you think its worth trying? This was inspired by our love of bucket-brigade analog delays. The kind of delay that sweetens sounds and allows dirty feedback looping that dosen't quit. It features tons of headroom, switchable dual outputs, switchable true bypass or...

So you decided to buy a Flanger...

I know you don't prefer Boss, but I really love my BF-2 that I picked up used for $40. Can't beat that. Not sure if you've tried the BF-2 but it's a much different beast than the sterile sounding BF-3. Please don't sigh or anything, I'm just throwing the BF-2 up for reconsideration.

    External auxiliary input?

An auxiliary input allows you to select an external source and play it through the cd player's amplifier. It's often used for iPods and MP-3 players. Typically you just need an inexpensive patch cable that connects the headphone output from your portable player to the input on the CD player...

    Source Audio Dubstep

I got a new result with the BEF Pro and Hot Hand so far. You should be able to get something close with the BEF, although I've found that I can get a much better wobble with the Pro, as you can adjust the Q in the backpage menu. Currently I have the BEF Pro and the Bass Multiwave Distortion Pro...

    V-B-T for a newby

I'm a lover of blend and master volume. I find that if you like say a 70/30 % split between the PUs then by setting the blend to your fav setting and then just using the master volume - IMHO you have all you need. You can use the volume control and set-up with 80% volume at the bass so I have a...

Why would a bass suddenly start buzzing?

Check the grounds on the bass. Something might have come lose. Furthermore, check the ground wire going to the bridge.

Can somebody help me identify this problem?

Maybe the output jack is the problem. Things to remember : Signal flows from outputs to inputs. Keeping the terminology right helps with trouble shooting. It helps you keep the signal flow straight in your head so you know what impacts what.

Using only neck pickup in J bass and disconnecting the other?

I think it will work but it might depend on a few things like amp grounding, wiring in you area or the effects that you are using. You can also just set the bridge volume at zero.
