Anyone have a clue as to the weight of the 8x15 Ampeg cabinet?

The avri ii is a great bass, I owned a Sunburst one for a while and wish I had it back(needed cash lol). One other thing that is probably different is the 66’ has binding on the fretboard which is a love it/hate it thing

You might want to keep the pickguard in a box or bag provenance of its unmolested original condition. I don’t know anything about it flammability but would probably recommend removing it from the instrument even if I were to keep it. Looks great and sounds that way too im sure. Rock On 🤘

I believe the 4x10 would cover more low end,believe it or not. Now a 2x15 Acoustic or Ampeg SVT 2x15 would be perfect for that head. The mighty Ampeg SVT 8x10 ofc would be another great choice

I do the 100% on both and roll back the bridge pickup to probably 75% or just leave them both at 100 and roll back the tone.Those are about my only 2 settings

I like the mint green guard. I would reinforce the backside of it with another piece of pickguard material and glue it to the back so it can’t be seen. You may have to remove washers to make the jack protrude all the way through so that you can get the nut on.

You do realize that the Standard is now made in Indonesia,which leads me to think cost cutting measures were put in place
