I purchased a pf-800 a few months ago on the TB classified and am now ready to buy a cab. I was all set on buying a 115he but the more I read about different Ampeg cabs the more confused I become. I am current considering the svt-212av. I'm planning on using a single cab for the time being...

Trying to plan out color options and just realized G&L doesn't offer sea foam or surf green. Is belair green close to either? I know these colors are hard to tell from pictures, but belair looks to be a bit darker shade of green.

I agree. For the first song he was playing his fiesta red P w/ tort guard, but for the second it was a red P w/ white guard and two soapbar pickups? I was wondering if it was a Lakland but didn't get a good look at the bridge. Sounded great per usual!

I've been set on buying an LB-100 for a few weeks now, but the D. Lakin Basses Bob Glaub sig is making me second guess myself. Several options for both and around the same price. Decisions Decisions

I'm really gassing for a lb-100 in clear orange with a tort guard and rosewood fretboard. I was planning on an ash body but have read on here and other websites that an ash body w/ rosewood is a major no-no. Will the transparent finish still look good on an alder body?

Is there/how would you describe the difference in neck feel between satin and gloss? Is one more slick? One more a "broken-in" feeling? Just looks?

Jimmy, will the 800 work well at low "practice" volumes? Or is it too much power for my needs?
