    the EHX seems to be more versatile ...it sounds awesome when you find the sweet spot....the volts knob is a unique feature for a fuzz....and it has an OD-booster side to it too...I will post some demos someday..

    These 2 are germanium "fuzz" pedals....I only have the Germanium 4 Big Muff, It is awesome. What about the Havalina?

    Digitech XBD bass driver

    just got one...the "SVT" sound is nice...not really "SVT" sounding, but nice growly fat distortion...(with a P Bass) the ODB and RAT sound...ehm...not really that close, but very versatile distortion pedal anyway....get it used...£30-35 it's a fair price for these

    in a band mix it sounds great.... it fights the battle on the ground, and that's what counts. It is always there on my board, specially for fretless fuzz...

    mine sounds awesome....it picks radio signals sometimes, but that's kinda awesome too....great tone, lots of low end...for almost the price of 2 burgers and ice-cream....

    very late here....but you got it all wrong...it's not RAT vs Muff...it's Rat AND Muff together.....+EQ.....killer sound.
