I much prefer natural wood, but it seems like my son and a lot of other folks, especially young people, prefer to have a color. When it comes to colors, I do like black or white with tort a lot.
The bridge on this Ric is impressive. I had a Ric for a very short toime when I was a kid. Someone lent it to me and I'm sorry I never got one.Lots of natural light i n the living room earlier today, which motivated me to take this pic of my 73 4001.

I'm from Belgrade, SER, and I am owner of Ibanez bass, Rickenbacker copy. I choose this one back in 1989, because of great sound, looks and everything. I later tried some original Rickenbackers, but still... This one have The Sound!
I use it for punk-rock. These are some recent pictures, enjoy! It stayed in original case for nearly 20 years, and still strings in tune... Ibanez mark on the case is handmade, it was not originaly there. The bass needs some polish and new strings, but everything is in order and funktional.
I payed for it 800DEM (Deutsche mark), but these days it has no value at all...

Spent the morning cleaning and tuning the laklands
Moses Graphite proto-Starhawk, 1 of 2 made for NAMM (199?), the other is a red fretless that he kept as a player if I remember the story correctly. At the time I was looking for a rock bass in black and this was on the Moses site for $600
Unbelievable how good the action is- to this day the neck has needed no adjustment. I was a little irked by the alignment (check out the E) but that's a quibble as the bass is a joy to play.

'96 EBMM Stingray - Just bought this beauty yesterday. Weighs a ton, but sets up nicely and sounds the business!
Here's the Gretsch Electromatic Jr Jet after the project. Body was plunge routed to about 50 percent of original weight. Has a beefy center block and the bridge is secured on original body mass. Sitka spruce top glued on, pearloid binding done by the tech shop. Ladies scarf embedded in lacquer sand & sealer, lots of nitro rattle can spray to finish. All original plastic parts discarded. Saving the factory pup for some future use. What do you think?
