As I mentioned elsewhere, it's so rare that all my basses are in the same location that A) the only family snapshot I have is 4 or 5 years old; and B) it doesn't include one of my only-just-slightly-more-recent acquisitions:

I'd like to show my prefered bass. It's a custom bass from Ledur luthier, made only with brazilian woods, neck through, brass bridge, strings thru body, loaded with seymour duncan pickups and gotoh tune machines.

So this is my Godin Shifter Classic,one-off, to sum it up, someone had ordered that spec (black body with white pearloid pg with maple neck) had them build it, but he did not pick it up.

At my birthday, in November, I wanted to buy myself a new bass, so I went at my local store going to get the new mim Fender Mustang but I did not like it, asked the guy what was in this price range and he showed me this beauty, fell in love with it. It isn't even comparable to the Mustang. My local dealer had bought some of these one-offs not picked up instruments from Godin at a good price so it was a steal (~1200$cad normally for a custom, paid it 800$cad)
If you encounter one of these, do try them out, they are amazing.

Saw/heard Watt a couple of weeks ago here in Pacifica - he was awesome (as usual) and rocked a version of this bass. I can't even recall what colour it was but it sounded like Watt!

Replaced the pickguard om my StingRay 5 with something a bit more modest that only covers the control cavity, it's a crime to hide such a nice piece of wood underneath a big white plastic sheet!

Colored the unused screw-holes with a orange sharpie.

Yep. Short scale. Changes from the proto to the latest version are a string through body Hipshot bridge and 21 frets, opposed to 20.

Very nice - does it have an extended upper horn ala Fender Gen 1 American Standard J or is it just the angle shot?

That sounds interesting. Have to look into them more.
