    I own an avatar 410 cab and i love it! bought it used and its purple with a tweed looking grill or whatever those things are called. best cabinet you can find for the money in my opinion!

    I'm being considered as a session player for a death metal band. Advice?!

    Obnoxious bass tapping is always a plus :D I play in a death metal band as well given not the best stuff for a bassist but it sure is fun i have to admit. Whatever you do DONT scoop the mids! thats pretty much my only advice

    I'm debating getting a 5 string however I'm running into the problem of whether i should leave it in standard or put it in a different tuning. My band plays in drop c and I'm just wondering what options i could do with tuning. Any help would be much appreciated

    I have been looking for a nickel roundwound in a thicker gauge preferably 50-110 and it seems like companies make them but no one sells them. I have spent a solid half hour looking on just strings and have even googled it and nothing has come up. Are thick nickel strings too much to ask for?

    avoiding fretwear?

    I have rotosound 66's on my warwick thumb and I love the tone but am noticing obvious signs of fretwear that stainless steel strings are notorious for. I want to retain the aggressiveness of my tone but I just cant keep these strings on. Any help would be much appreciated!

    one of my personal favorite metal bass tones is brandon giffin of the faceless in the songs akledama and planetary duality 1 he uses some really cool distortion in little parts of the song that i really do enjoy coincidently theyre both instrumentals haha

    what are some good 5 string basses that wont cost me an arm and a leg to have an awesome bass i play death metal/ technical death metal so something not too beefy and preferably with active pick ups any help/ suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

    VOLUME POT FOR WARWICK THUMB BO, I NEED HELP!!!!!!!!

    my volume pot on my bass is all messed up, i took it in and they said i need to get a new one however MEC is the only company that makes them can anyone help me in getting a new pot, im pretty sure i can only get them from them out of germany any help would be greatly appreciated :)

    nazi hookers its not a band but the rhythm guitarist in my band thought of it when we were deciding a band name, i thought it was pretty funny :)
