after having fun with my micro vr and one 210av cab for years i bought another one and guess what - i have ugly clippings. i can get rid of them when i decrease the volume but then i have a smaller maximum volume than using just one cab. i asked ampeg support about the issue and got the answer...

just put a true bypass pedal (i mean some kind of fx loop) in front of the b3 and you have your plain bass sound at your amp (of course without effects then :). i also hear the difference but after a while i got used to it. for me it is more some kind of a response-thing than a great difference...

maybe i am just silly but after having my b3 for some months it totally replaced my old pedalboard which i used for years.

hej, i found what i was looking for: "Bottom B" of the zoom b3. this "pedal" pushes my ampeg micro vr top with the 210 cab exactly the way i like it. oh, am i glad!
