I do like the bass, but the output jack is horrible now on mine. Does not connect with the cable at all. Has anyone put the debut neck on a sonic body?

Where are people getting the replacement pick guards for the Sonic P? I bought one from stratospher but it needs a lot of work to fit over the pickups properly. I did my easy way out and put Gold Vinyl over the stock guard.

After some very cheap mods. My Debut is still fun to play and I like the simplicity and price. I would buy another if someone gave me $130 in Amazon coin. Cheers either one will fit the bill

Okay I acquired a vintage white pickguard . @covermego has convinced me I can move the pickups the small amount it takes to make it fit. 😧 drilling holes in this mod will be necessary. Here are a couple pics, I ask you all what you think? I’m on the fence.

The debut is a good starting point for modding. I have enjoyed mine.

Same with my vol & tone knobs. The tone has full range. The Volume really only changes the last quarter turn. Then I plugged in a new higher priced cable and used a boost pedal. That seemed to allow me to have more volume control.

Yes still stock strings. I have some EB's that will be going on when I start the pickguard operation. Finding time between work and kids is the only hold up. But like I wrote. I was very pleasantly surprise with how it played out of the box after just a tune up.
