i hear ya. Never ever really cared about the necks on my fenders. switching from PB to JB: "oh, nice, narrow neck, easy to play" - switching from JB to PB: "nice, some real meat in the hands, feels so solid" and so on. Have a JB with a U-Neck, a JB with a modern C Neck, i like both the same...
