I think everyone has "that drawer", and when i moved and had to empty it i now have "that box" and a new "that drawer."

The pot in my bass went out when i was playing. I hit a note and the sound just disappered.

I do use my wireless. The rack just vibrated off.

I have been putting on the ground since then. The problem is i can't see my tuner, as i don't wear my glasses on stage.

Had the same problem once, it ended up being the volume pot. If you have an Ohm meter check it. Also, check your input jack, it is possible that a wire has just come loose.

So here's the deal. I was at a gig jamming right along when my bass suddenly got quiet, i turn and look back and my rack has fallen to the ground. i too have a DOD pedal missing the battery cover. i wonder why it is that they could make a pedal you could kick the crap out of, yet the battery covers would just disappear. like somewhere there is a troll hoarding all of them.

i'd say yes if you've had the jack replaced. if you have then make sure the tip and sleeve are contacting with the right terminals.
