wow well that was a hell a lot of info which im not sure if quite understood lol sorry but im guna hijack this thread also :) I plan on running a 450W ampeg (SVT 3 PRO) through a 8x10 ashdown cab, im assuming that the cab can push a lot more. Will this amp be enough for the cab?

kk thx. is there much difference between the 2 8x10s? ive recently plyed a show with an ampeg line up so i used my head (ashdown MAG 300) through the ampeg cab.... it sounded like pure gold lol but the ashdown cab itsnt giving out the same effect. also sorry Biskitt for stealin your thread...

lol soz, im generally talking about output. I find tht the Ashdown head stuggles to give me tht "umph" mainly in the low end area. I playing a lot more larger gigs now so output with out distorstion is becoming more of an issue
