I didn't do any before and after recordings but i have recorded a few tracks with the old pickups before. Definitely will record with the new ones too. I'll try to post examples soon if i have time.

I have the Aguilar 4P60 pickups on the bass now, huge difference. I think the stock pickups lacks definition and punch. It's not a big problem if you always have an amp on stage but the line signal was not working well. The sound guy is happy now, and the drummer who always have in ear monitors...

I really like that Asat bass, but i can't play it because of the short upper cutaway. I am so used to have the cutaway about the 12th fret so the bass feels comfortable when i'm standing. I can't play some of the Warwicks too.
