What's the most famous make of bass you've NEVER HELD?

I've never touched a Squier short scale Jaguar bass before. I've heard they're a lot of fun to play.

    Rain Delay Pedal by Tortuga

Anybody ever use this before on bass? I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on this, as it's switchable between short echo and a longer delay, which I'd have use for. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tortuga-Rain-Delay-/130819810354?pt=Guitar_Accessories&hash=item1e7577e432

Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread 29: "Please Huff Responsibly"

Hey, thanks bro! And yeah, the B2R with my Big Muff and Ampeg cabs sound awesome. But when we play a show with no PA support, it's just not loud enough. And I was considering an SVT4Pro, but it seems that there's a lot of features that I don't want. There's not many bells and whistles with...

Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread 29: "Please Huff Responsibly"

Anybody here use an Orange Terror? I need to upgrade (I'm currently powering my 2 Ampeg 4x10's with a B2R!), and was thinking that this amp would work for my sound. I currently play with my Big Muff pedal on ALL THE TIME, but was thinking that could change with this amp. It seems to get a lot...

What do you guys think about the Orange Terror 1000 for stoner rock. I'm upgrading from an Ampeg B2R (I know!), and run through two 4x10 Ampeg cabs. And my Big Muff pedal is on ALL THE TIME. And feel free to add my band to your directory... Sweet Love sweetlove.bandcamp.com

Gallien Krueger Official Club, Pt 6

So... how do you think a 1001RB-II would pair with 2 Ampeg SVT 4x10 cabs?

My band's new single on Bandcamp. What do you think?

I thought about upgrading amps when I needed some more volume, but I decided to add on another 4 x 10 cab instead. Didn't want to risk losing my tone, as it is killer IMO. And the studio engineer captured my bass tone perfectly... that's exactly how it sounds. Big Muff is on ALL THE TIME too...

My band's new single on Bandcamp. What do you think?

Thanks, Dove! I'd say what really made "Black Hole" was adding a bit of rhythm guitar in the background to add to the fullness. The rough versions with just one guitar and bass felt too sparse.

My band's new single on Bandcamp. What do you think?

Cool... thanks! The guitar amp was kept in a closet with the door slightly opened. That seemed to control the feedback a bit. And some of that feedback was overdubbed too... the guitarist knew what exactly what he wanted.

My band's new single on Bandcamp. What do you think?

Ha! Yeah, there's guitar on it! He plays a Gibson Les Paul through a Twin Reverb with some fuzz, so it's also pretty bassy.

Thanks, dude. And I never thought of our singer sounding like S Wilson... that's cool!
