Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread 29: "Please Huff Responsibly"

Bill me later is 6 months same as cash on any purchase over $99. If you pay off the balance within 6 months you aren't charged any interest. If you don't pay it off in 6 months, you are charged ALL the interest from those 6 months, I think at a rate in the high 20s.

To buy something from the classifieds with bill me later, you can have the seller send you an invoice for the amount requested. Then you log into pay pal and pay the invoice with bill me later.

I do this all the time. As long as you stay on top of it, its very convenient.

I have the money, it's just I never use paypal, so it's got like zero money in it. I got a new account made for just gear stuff, and I got like $50 in checking and $60 in savings, and $300 in cash. I ask if he'd wait til monday to let me sort it out, since I just got the account I don't have a card.

I do have a card already linked to paypal with like $20 on it, could I use it to start the Bill me Later, then finish with my gear account?

Bill Me Later essentially IS a credit card, as it is a line of credit. The only difference is it uses some kind of dynamic available balance. You don't apply and they give you a $1000 line, you attempt to make a purchase and they will approve you for a certain amount. For awhile my limit was $2000. I had around $1100 on there and then bought the green Ric via Bill Me Later and was approved, and they increased my limit to like $2700. I'm not sure why they do it that way.

But you could pay it with Bill Me Later and then pay it off once your finances are in order. The seller gets his money either way. And theoretically if you wanted, you could just pay $20/mo until its paid off and you won't be charged interest.

Anybody here use an Orange Terror? I need to upgrade (I'm currently powering my 2 Ampeg 4x10's with a B2R!), and was thinking that this amp would work for my sound. I currently play with my Big Muff pedal on ALL THE TIME, but was thinking that could change with this amp. It seems to get a lot of grit with the gain up.
Any thoughts?

And my band is Sweet Love

no experience with the terror, but I had a B2R... I would venture to guess that the Orange is going to me closer to what your looking for. No sure if it would replace a muff but I would set it up to be moderately gritty / driven, then use the muff to really bring the fuzz.... but that's just me.
