Pretty sure the '62 RI Jazz pushed ONE of the buttons in the sequence for the exit of my second wife. All is well, however...my REAL wife (#3...whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?? I'm a bass player!), it incredibly supportive and when she buys drum stuff...it's a GREAT reason to "add to the order"!!!

Thank you, Scott! Glad to see another fan of these FINE basses (I got a GREAT one) and really appreciate your inside work w/ Epiphone/Gibson to keep them in the loop for any QC issues...I REALLY want to get another...it is truly the best bass I have ever owned!!

That stinks, man...they really are great...IF you get a good one. I really would love to buy another...but pretty sure it's not worth the risk. I still wanna see how it sits with the band...could end up my perfect HOME bass and nothing more.

I would (and am going to) put the medium scale strings if using the DTFs...the "normal" 760FS-S I used were all just short...easy enough to fix w/ a razor blade...but still a pain.

Pretty sure LowEndLobster has a video up w/ this and tuning machine swaps...and also that HipShot has the correct pieces to complete the modification. Hope this helps!!

I can dig it...encountered a similar situation. I fiddled w/ eq and strings until I found a combination that came close to my fabulous headphone tone. I will say, the Quilter Interbass was a great help because it doubles as a headphone amp if needed...making the end sound coming from the same...

Same for me...solid as can be after set-up!

These fit me to a TEE and after many years, playing bass is FUN again~
