My Squier Jazz cost less than a tenth of that and for that they covered up the wiring. It looks like an aftermarket neck as well, since it has neither logo on the front nor skunk strip on the back. All in all, I call into question the word "Professional"

I've never heard anyone say "guitar-player"; it's always "guitarist". Since "bassist" has an equivalency with that it seems, to me at least, the better term. It doesn't have the ring of "guitarist" and there's quite a few Ss to get your teeth around but, on the other hand, it's quicker to say...
