    Fender Rumble Club

Confession time. I had recently brought home an older Fender Rumble 150. Once I had it in a very quiet environment, I realized the sound wasn't as good as I thought it was. Long story short. I have a Rumble 40 back that sounds much better and weighs (close to) nothing. It's a keeper!

    Fender Rumble Club

OK, I'm ready to 'spill the beans', on myself. First off, I'm old & retar... 'er retired. I wanted to learn bass over guitar only because my hearing on the high end is pretty much gone. So, I started off wrong by buying a bass here and there and then stepped back and asked myself, *** you doing...

    Fender Rumble Club

Story time.:) I had mentioned I might be getting a Fender Rumble 60 for really cheap. Well, it didn't happen. He either sold it or never bothered to check his ad to see that I was interested in it. Just as well. Here is a picture of why it was so cheap. I probably saved myself countless hours...

    Peavey Basic 112 w/15"?

Two part question for anyone that knows. Is it possible to stuff a 15" Black Widow speaker into a Peavey Basic 112? Would it be worth it? Thanks

Peavey MINX 110 - help to decide.

Sorry, I might of left a word out in that sentence. I meant "intended duty", i.e. home practice amp.

Peavey MINX 110 - help to decide.

I'm looking for a (good?) small amp to learn with. Peavey is at the top of my list as I've heard of them for the last 50+ years. So for the price & duty I'd like to stick with the MINX 110. Now here is where I need some help from the Peavey gurus here. I've noticed there are three different...

    New old guy here.

While I've been reading a lot here and learning, I finally bought a bass and now it's time to buckle down to learn how to play it. I have no experience with strings. I did play sax back in high school a hundred years ago so this should be fun. I just had to join this site!
