    Fender goes after boutique builder

And as with housing. Rich people hoard more than they need lol. (Especially the collectors who can’t even play).

That’s exactly what I like to hear! Would you mind being specific about what you think is better regarding the newer builds? What things in your opinion have Lakland improved on since the 90’s?

Hi AC clubbers - I ordered this bass from Jimmy is 2013 and received it in 2014. It’s a KBP4 CS with a jazz neck. Very lucky to own this lovely bass. I bought it as a present to myself for finishing music school. Very glad to have it. I’ve bought and sold many electric basses in my years but...

Doesn’t this message state that regarding Classic basses - only roasted necks aren’t guaranteed to be quarter sawn? He states at the top the all USA classics are quarter sawn unless you choose the roasted option.

My two Laklands. A 1998 55-94 and a 2001 Hollowbody. Would love a 44-94 Dual J one day to make my Lakland collection a trio. I’ve never played any newer made Laklands. Nothing past 2005. For anyone who has experience with older Laklands and new: how do the modern builds compare to the golden...

Why is the G&L L1000 still the best?

That's an incredible L-1000. Can't believe how good the condition is. Mine looks much much more "played". The maple neck has lovely figuring too. Is it Mahogany body? Heavy?

I know it's a long shot - but I'm looking for a USA version of the Lakland Hollowbody. Anyone have one they would like to part with? Shoot me a PM to chat about it. (picture for attention)

I only mentioned post 2020 to be more specific about very recent builds. Nothing has changed to my knowledge.

I currently own a 98 Lakland 55-94 which I love. I’m contemplating ordering a US made Lakland jazz bass (Joe Osborn). Can I get some honest recommendation on what the build quality of newer made (post 2020) US Lakland basses is like? Do they stack up to the one from the 90’s?
