Mesa WD-800 vs. TT-800 tone differences

I agree. I am not looking to attempt to make one sound like the other just looking at what could be accomplished by adding an external EQ. Both amps are voiced voiced independently trying to make one sound like the other would be too difficult and outside of my knowledge base.

Mesa WD-800 vs. TT-800 tone differences

I am sure you know more than me. I hope that I am distilling the voluminous information correctly.

Mesa WD-800 vs. TT-800 tone differences

If I am taking all the information into consideration knowing the WD and the TT are voiced differently but still retain a large part of the DNA that each amp was modeled after. By adding an external EQ will give me much more tonal flexibility the winner seems to be the TT because it is two amps...

Mesa WD-800 vs. TT-800 tone differences

Hi guys, like the original OP I am looking @ both of these amps. The most important difference I can glean from the group is that the TT have less options for tone shaping because of the eq controls. Am I being too basic by suggesting that this problem could be solved by adding a really good...

    New bass day!! Rickenbacker!!!

Super cool wife, story, t-shirt and bass. FYI, wearing cool shirts is never cliche. If it makes you happy do it.

People owning Fender are really only caring FOR MONEY.

Perhaps, the bass in the ad is missing the fret on PURPOSE. Is it so far fetched that a marketing team would know that a purist would notice a small detail as create a fuss about it. Look at how many pages of comments are on this site. If there is one thing you can count on these days is...

NBD - Fullerton AVRI P Bass - Candy Apple Red over Lake Placid Blue

I think that would be a great idea. What do you guys think about creating a pencil date thread/data base. Mine is pretty ambiguous so others must be as well. It would have been nice to have something to compare it too.

NBD - Fullerton AVRI P Bass - Candy Apple Red over Lake Placid Blue

Hi everyone, just a big thank you to all. I have had a great time leaning about these bass’s their history and what not. I have two final questions. Does anyone know what type of material the Corona nuts were made of? I thinking about replacing mine when it goes to the luthier tomorrow. What...

NBD - Fullerton AVRI P Bass - Candy Apple Red over Lake Placid Blue

I can see where the 5 could look like a 6 or a 8. I looked for exemplars on reverb and ebay. As the Stonehenge said his has a stamp as did the two others I found (only found two both currently on reverb) the blue one is a triple color like mine. Mine has hand written date and name stamps on the...

NBD - Fullerton AVRI P Bass - Candy Apple Red over Lake Placid Blue

Finally the finish and the body. There are no holes that I can see for the bridge and ash tray covers. If the red is a refinish they could have been plugged. Does the fact that the red is sprayed in all the cavities mean anything? Stay with me on the logic here: the serial number says Fender...
