I ordered mine back in June of last year - nothing too fancy, FU4, standard gloss 3TSB body, gloss neck, LP, BAII, OBP-1. Initial ETA was April of this year, but has been revised to June. Perhaps they are backlogged.

Interesting - perhaps shielding the pickup cavity and connecting to ground would help? I don't recall myself or others having noisy Legacy LP pickups, but could be wrong. Hope you are able to figure it out!

On my previous 2010 FU4, I noticed a similar issue with the SD pickup - it would hum pretty loud when touching it. I replaced that pickup with a Legacy LP and at the same time shielded the pickup cavity. This quieted down the issue, but it was still there, albeit faint. I asked the question...

Congrats - looks awesome! I think I agree with some of the other comments that tort would be exquisite if you ever decided to change the pickguard. Charcoal Frost is an awesome color on Fender basses.
