So I got to band practice and none of my expression inputs on my Moog FM-101 low pass filter will work. It just acts as if there is no expression pedal plugged in. Anyone had this issue or better yet fixed it? Thanks

It was only during one song. It was an actual bass line not drone stuff. In one song he also plays a bassline while he triggers samples on a sp-404 with the back of his left hand while fretting notes. Very impressive IMO...

You were literally standing right behind me... My buddies bald head is in the photo! He uses the Moog Taurus to double some of his parts while playing bass. It sounds massive!

You need a filter and an oscillator...... Your best bet is moogerfoogers the the Freqbox (or your favorite fuzz) and the LPF would do the trick.

Yeah the korg is gone. He runs a Moog Taurus and the Roland SP-303 (or 202 not sure) with a table of effects. His normal pedal rig which has stayed pretty consistent on the Empros Tour. There are pics in pedal boards of the stars. I never realized how much of a chordal role he play in RC...

Just saw Russian Circles last night. The ruled it!!! When did Brian Cook Start Using the Moog Taurus? He was doubling some of his bass lines and it sounded great!

The VT1-EQ is such a good pedal. It has to many tonal options on tap. It seems fairly overlooked on this forum for the most part.

I wouldn't use a gated fuzz infront of it. The best results i had with a Freqbox is to run an EQ infront of it with most of the spectrum taken out and one or two bands boosted super high so it is getting a clean signal with out harmoic content. The more sine wave like you can make the input...
