for shows i use my traben array > monster cable > CrateBT220 or the bass rig at the venue for at home use i'll hook up a wah pedal and mess around with distortion as well as chorus.

I love all of the tattoo's i've seen thus far. I've been contemplating getting a bass tattoo. I've noticed a lot of people have a plain old bass cleff, im gonna give my girlfriend the Bass cleff and tell her to make a kickass design for/from it. and if i like it then New tattoo!

My take on it is disreguarding strings. A bass besides looks is more so on sound. When someone uses effects just to make thier bass sound like a guitar thats when i beleive it isnt a bass anymore. It could be a 4 string warwick double buck and some person out there will plug in some distortion...
