    Snark Tuners?

Saturday night my Boss tuner got dropped, and broke during setup. I had to rely on my backup, a Snark tuner. It worked pretty well at lower noise levels. But I had to do a drop D tuning in the middle of a set, in a loud venue, and the Snark would not respond at all to the E string on my Fender...

    Single Lower Note Octave Pedal

Can anyone suggest an octave pedal that will simply kick the note being played, down one octave, without multiple harmonics ? I'm looking for a deeper sound when playing a four-string, without down-tuning or ... playing a five string. Thanks for any guidance !

Bass cables, does it make a difference?

A cable is a signal path, and how its made, and what its made of are important. Why make it the weakest link in your pro system ? A friend recently turned me on to Lava Cable. I ordered one, and the quality is drop-dead killer. I'm about to order one for every link in my setup.

    low tension flats.... kinda

Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Flats are your solution ! They fit your need -- including price over the long haul. But here's the BONUS: They are kiiler, killer, killer sounding strings. Bright-enough highs and the low E and B notes come through crystal clear. I've been playing bass over 50 years --...

    Boss GT-10B

Thanks for the idea, Gastric. In the meantime, I came up with this solution when connecting with the 4-cable method to my Mesa M6 Carbine. On the GT-10B, I assigned the Send/Return command to the CTL 1 pedal. That switches back and forth between the amp head and the GT-10B. In other words, one...

    Boss GT-10B

Is it possible to disable all effects and get a clean bass signal to the amp using the four-cable setup? It would be, I guess, going from a wet to a dry output signal. I'd like to be able to switch back and forth from a patch to a bass input as if I wasn't using the GT-10B at all. I've been all...

    Bridge to replace Badass V?

Which Fender bridge are you folks describing? The HMV (high mass vintage) or another. I want to replace the one on a MIM Jazz Bass Deluxe. Also, what's the best online source to order one? Thanks !

    Marcus Miller Fat Beams

Is anyone playing rock or classic rock using Marcus Miller DR Fat Beam strings ? I think they might work well on my active Jazz basses, but thought I'd get some opinions first. :help: Thanks !
