Saturday night my Boss tuner got dropped, and broke during setup. I had to rely on my backup, a Snark tuner. It worked pretty well at lower noise levels. But I had to do a drop D tuning in the middle of a set, in a loud venue, and the Snark would not respond at all to the E string on my Fender...

Can anyone suggest an octave pedal that will simply kick the note being played, down one octave, without multiple harmonics ? I'm looking for a deeper sound when playing a four-string, without down-tuning or ... playing a five string. Thanks for any guidance !
