You could Daisy Chain the 500 to the 200. (or vice versa) I haven't tried it yet, but I do believe, (if the 500 is your primary or has bass connected to it) you can 'SEND' from the 500 to the 200 "Input" or 'RETURN'. I think 500 SEND to the 200 RETURN would retain the 500's Preamp sound config...

I wonder if you're using the correct output ports? 1 cable, use Mono, 2 cables use Stereo. I don't think the output level will be affected by the 'send' output.
