Post ONE Picture of what the coolness of a Bassist is to you !

Oh hell yeah! Mic Todd all the way! I love Emma Anzai though. Such a sexy bassist. She can slap the **** out of her bass too. :D

    Inconsiderate co-worker playing music....HELP!

I would say burn a CD, and while she is away switch them. Make sure a few of the tracks are death metal and the volume is cranked up. So when she goes to press play its nothing but loud ****ing "whiddley wahhh" and REAGHH!! Death metal man! best way to go for a chick like that.

    Constantly changing tunings

Try to clump the songs that are in the same tuning together, that way you wont have to constanly keep retuning. Also as others have suggested, multiple basses would be a good way to go. Personally I don't like the idea of having to keep re-tuning my instrument just for other songs. I...

    Destroying Instruments

Well, I've destroyed an acoustic guitar once. However it was the bands idea, also a really old ****** guitar. It was fun at the time, however I would never do that again. Especially to my bass. I love it too much to destroy it. I just don't see the need to destroy your gear. Sell it or give it...

Annoying isn't it? It's an invasion of privacy that for some reason is accepted.

Looking for lighter beginner's bass for my wife

Well if you want light, how about an acoustic? ;) Also, the Yamaha RBX-170 isn't all too bad. Not to heavy, its right in the middle. It has the P-J style pickups and its got a pretty decent sound.

Looking for recommendations for beginner's bass

Hmm, not sure if anyone else would agree but the Yamaha RBX-170 isn't all too bad of a choice for a beginner bass. Not too heavy, not too light. Pretty decent sound. P-J style pickups too.

Jobs that don't allow you to support yourself

My previous job. Being the Lot Attendant for Mike Piazza Honda. Working 3 days a week doesn't help either

I'm stuck in a rut. bassically. haha.

Eh, I don't want to recomend this...but try a new cover? Different tuning perhaps? Try an effect even. Something like that might help you think of different ideas....

    Former bassist!

I would like for them to close this thread actually. And yes my last post was a trolling post.

    songwriters credit??

Simple. If you wrote it, it is yours. No one elses. No one can claim credit for the work you created. So if you wrote a bass line then the credit for that bass line belongs to you. Now, say they wrote the guitar parts an all and you just played the root notes. You don't have much say in it...

    What bass do you play?

My Yamaha RBX-170 Seeing how it is my only bass.

    Former bassist!

Please let me know how the **** I am trolling. I simply was sharing what happened to me. I told the band from the get go that going to the studio was a waste of time and money. However no one listened to me. Well anyway if someone could close this thread that would be appriciated. Take...
