You could try cleaning the pots with deoxit, available in Amazon. That's what the electronic techs use when cleaning noisy pots on amps.

Just in case it helps, have you checked if your bass has already a passive pickup config in it? In my M5V I get the passive config if I pull on one of the knobs, but I forget which knob...

I experienced the same thing, but I think it was a Firefox issue (win10 in my case). I tried with Chrome and the issue went away. Other web sites showed the same Firefox issue.

That was my experience also. Very sparse communication. I'm kind of disappointed about it.

One tip that may help: if you're squeezing your left hand to hold down the note, try instead using more of your upper arm (i.e. your triceps) to pull back on the string. The arm/tricep muscle is stronger than the hand muscle used in squeezing.

I've had that issue also on tuners or knobs. If you google it, it seems to be caused by plasticisers (sp?) migrating to the surface (i.e. aging). Rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol did the job for me.

I wonder about the phase alignment between both mics... Something easy to test with each mic on a different recorded track...
