The Ampeg PortaFlex does indeed fit flipped inside the cabinet. My cab has over 400 gigs on it but the head burned out around gig #150. So I ended up replacing it with a different head, since it wasn't worth fixing it.

Had the same problem with the Made in China Epi EB-3. No E string at all! Ended up selling it on ebay and bought a Fender MIM for the same money.

We use the Tascam DP-02 with two mics and record the full band live in rehearsal. Decent quality, use audacity or garageband to clean it up. You may have to try the mics in a couple of different locations to get the right mix.:bassist:

I have a MIM in Sienna Sunburst, quality instrument, gets lots of positive comments. It does not boom the lows massively, but 5 controls give you lots of sound options. Can play it bright or muddy. As long as you're not using it for heavy metal, you should be good. One side note - factory...

There is one jack on the back that says "line Out", i wanted to put an 8 ohm 410 there. I do not believe that this would bypass the internal speaker, but i'm not sure. If anyone has done this (without damaging the amp head), pls let me know, thx.
